Kenneth came to us 16 days ago with a tracheostomy in place due to complications from sleep apnea. He had been hospitalized and has resided in other long term care facilities for over two months.
He is quick to tell us how he feels blessed to have found Harriman Care and Rehab. He states that he feels like he wouldn’t have made as much progress anywhere else, and it’s because of the dedication from the respiratory therapist, therapy department, nursing staff, and all the other employees.
He is excited about his discharge and is determined to continue improving so that he may lead a normal, fulfilling life with his beautiful wife, Kathy, and their cat, Kitty. It’s been a pleasure working with Kenneth in reaching his goals and we’ve learned a great deal more from his determination, positive outlook and catching smile than we could have ever taught him! Best of luck and blessings for today, tomorrow and forever. Kenneth!
